INTUITIVE & FUNCTIONAL YOGA

Intuitive & Functional Yoga is a body-led practice that blends intuitive movement with functional, accessible patterns designed to support strength, mobility, and nervous system regulation.

Rather than forcing the body into predetermined shapes, this practice prioritizes how movement feels and how it functions in your everyday life. You’ll be guided through mindful, adaptable sequences that honor your unique anatomy, energy level, and lived experience.

Choice is central to this practice. Options and variations are offered throughout class so you can move in a way that feels supportive, sustainable, and responsive to your body’s signals.

I often say: I am the guide — but you are the captain of the ship.

 

My role is to offer structure and support. Your role is to listen, choose, and move with intention.

This class is well-suited for beginners, those returning to movement, and anyone seeking a thoughtful, non-performative approach to yoga that balances intuition with practical function.

Please review the schedule and reserve your spot in advance, as space may be limited.

WHAT TO BRING

To help you feel comfortable and supported, please bring:

  • a yoga mat

  • water

  • any props you enjoy using (blocks, blanket, bolster, etc.)

  • layers for warmth during rest

Most importantly, bring yourself exactly as you are. There is no expectation to look, move, or perform in a certain way.

IMPORTANT — LIABILITY WAIVER

For everyone’s safety and clarity, a signed yoga liability waiver is required before participating in class.
